I am an interdisciplinary academic with a background in economics, philosophy, and political theory. My research focuses on epistemic democratization, the relationship between democracy and expertise, and the transformative potential of generative artificial intelligence for political institutions, social-science research, and higher education.
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at the Institute of Political Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. I serve as the Coordinator for Studies at the Politics, Philosophy and Economics programme, an international bachelor’s programme of roughly 300 students, and my research sits under the heading of AI institutional transformation.
My work combines conceptual analysis with institutional design. I am particularly interested in technologies that expand access to expertise, accelerate experimentation, and make complex organizations more adaptive, while remaining attentive to legitimacy, inequality, accountability, and human autonomy.
I teach and speak in Czech and English.
